The Centre
The Indonesian Orphanages Research Centre was established in 2016 as an independent, not-for-profit source of publicly-available academic and other research about orphanages in Indonesia. It aims to support efforts to reduce the reliance on orphanages, or panti asuhan, in Indonesia by encouraging further scholarly inquiry and public discussion.
